Shu-Chang Yan is a professor of the Department of Psychology, Hebei Normal University, China. His research interest focuses on the history of psychology and cultural psychology. Yan has published over 10 peer-reviewed articles about the history of Chinese psychology on top journals such as “History of Psychology” (SSCI) and “Acta Psychologica Sinica” (CSSCI), et al. He also published a monograph “A History of Modern Psychology in China (1872-1949)”. Yan currently serves as the editorial member of two journals: “Acta Psychologica Sinica” and “Psychological Exploration” (CSSCI), as well as the reviewer of several journals. In the Chinese Psychological Society, Yan is the vice-director of the Division of Theoretical Psychology and History of Psychology.
