Dr. Dr. Li-wei ZHANG got his master degree in pedagogy and first doctoral degree in physical education in Beijing Sport University and his second doctoral degree in psychology in Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 1989 to 2017, he published 217 journal papers in the national and international journals and 209 conference papers. He also authored 20 books and 36 book chapters. His academic interests are related to self-concept, self-control and burnout (mental fatigue). His consultation work has been involved in mental training programs of China table tennis team, rhythmic gymnastics team, tennis team and trampoline team for Olympic Summer Games and China short-track skating team and freestyle ski aerial team for Olympic Winter Games. He was a professional table tennis player and coach for 14 years in 1970’s and 1980’s. Now he is a fun of tennis and police films.
