Dr. Xun Liu is a professor and one of the Hundred-Talent scholars at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his bachelor and master degrees from the Department of Psychology at Peking University in 1991 and 1994, respectively. In 2000, he earned his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Psychology at University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Liu is currently the deputy director at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He also serves as the treasurer of the Chinese Psychological Society (CPS), a vice chairman of the General and Experimental Psychology branch of CPS, a vice chairman of the working committee of International Academic Exchange of CPS, a vice editor-in-chief of Acta Psychologica Sinica. He is also review editors for Advances in Psychological Science and Frontiers in Neuropsychiatric Imaging and Stimulation. His research interests cover cognitive control, emotional regulation, reward decision making and social interaction. He has published more than 70 articles and 2 book chapters. His work has been cited over 2000 times and earned an H-index of 20.
