About IAAP
The International Association of Applied Psychology is the oldest international association of psychologists. Its official languages are English and French. Founded in 1920, it now has more than 1,500 members from more than 80 countries. As stated in Article 1 of its Constitution, its mission is to promote the science and practice of applied psychology and to facilitate interaction and communication among applied psychologists around the world. About CPS
Established in the year 1921, Chinese Psychological Society (CPS) is one of the earliest national academic organizations in China, and CPS is a member of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and the national representative member of the International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS).

CPS has more than 10,000 individual members in its 25 divisions. The mission of CPS includes: fostering communications among its members and with other psychological organizations and institutions in China and abroad, disseminating psychological knowledge to public, and cultivating the developments of psychological professionals and students.

CPS advises 10 psychology journals in China, one of them is in English, 10 working committees and 31 provincial level psychological societies in China. The working committees provide services to CPS members, reflect suggests and offer consultation to government, and promote psychology research and practice in China.

National congress of psychology is hold once a year with more than 1,500 participants. CPS also hosted the International Congress of Psychology with about 6500 participants, 3500 were from outside of China mainland successfully in the year 2004. MORE...
